Ararat Mirzoyan: "Azerbaijan Stopped Discussing Text of Peace Treaty"

On January 18, in response to MPs' questions in Parliament, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said that Azerbaijan has stopped discussing the text of the peace treaty for the time being, the Press Office of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
"We sent our proposals, and now there should be a response from the Azerbaijani side, which is still missing. It turns out that regardless of the meetings [of foreign ministers], now the Azerbaijani side stopped discussing the text of the peace treaty. Along with this, we see provocative actions in the Lachin corridor and the violation of the trilateral statements of November 9, 2020, by Azerbaijan," he added.
The Foreign Minister recalled that Armenia did not participate in the planned trilateral meeting in Moscow in late December 2022, where presumably the discussion of the draft peace treaty would be continued. "But at the same time, we submitted our drafting proposals to the Azerbaijani side and are now waiting for their reaction," Mirzoyan said. "We sent our proposals and justifications to the Azerbaijani side, and there has been no reaction for a month," he said.
Moreover, Ararat Mirzoyan stressed that the allegations that Armenia has stopped, is blocking, or is not constructive in the peace process, particularly in work around the peace treaty, are not true.
