Armenia, EBRD Mark €400M Investment Milestone in Strategic Partnership
During a working visit to London, an Armenian delegation led by Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan met with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Odile Renaud-Basso, according to the Ministry of Finance of Armenia.
Minister Hovhannisyan thanked the EBRD president for the deepening partnership and highlighted that the Bank’s investments in Armenia reached a record €400 million in 2024—a major milestone in bilateral cooperation.
Reflecting on Armenia’s participation in the EBRD capital increase initiative, Hovhannisyan reiterated the country’s commitment to supporting the Bank’s mission in advancing infrastructure and economic development.
In addition to the high-level meeting, the Armenian delegation held discussions with various EBRD professional teams. These focused on reviewing progress across Armenia’s infrastructure portfolio and identifying solutions to ongoing challenges.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared goal of enhancing Armenia’s economic resilience and advancing sustainable development through strategic investment and cooperation.
