Armenia Warns International Partners About "Azerbaijan's Concentration of Offensive Weapons Near Border with Armenia"

At the OSCE Permanent Council meeting in Vienna, convened on Yerevan's initiative, on September 12, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahe Gevorgyan stated that Azerbaijan's concentration of offensive weapons near the border with Armenia and the line of contact with Nagorno-Karabakh is nothing but a threat of force to which international partners should respond.
"Armenia remains committed to resolving all unresolved issues with Azerbaijan exclusively through political and diplomatic means, and we expect the international community and our partners to make every effort and use the means at their disposal to prevent new aggression in our region," he emphasized.
According to the deputy head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the blockade of 120 thousands of Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh, the complete cessation of commercial and humanitarian supplies through the Lachin corridor, which is accompanied by the deliberate cessation of electricity and gas supplies, has caused an extreme humanitarian crisis, and Azerbaijan's goal is to subject Nagorno-Karabakh to complete ethnic cleansing.
Gevorgyan further emphasized the importance of international efforts to ensure the rights and security of Karabakh Armenians, as well as the establishment of an effective international mechanism for dialogue between Stepanakert/Khankendi and Baku.
