
Armenian PM Meets with US Deputy Assistant Secretary to Discuss Armenia-Azerbaijan Relations

As reported by the Armenian PM press service, on October 24, PM Nikol Pashinyan met with Joshua Huck, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.
Nikol Pashinyan underscored the role of the US in the process of normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations. He stressed that over 100,000 Armenians were forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh due to Azerbaijan’s ethnic cleansing policy, emphasizing the need for international support to address these challenges.
During their discussion, the leaders talked about various issues, including normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and unblocking regional transport infrastructure with respect to principles such as territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity. They also addressed the matter of border delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, focusing on the importance of fostering peace and stability in the region.
Vice President of the Armenian Parliament, Ruben Rubinyan, also held a meeting with Joshua Huck. They discussed the current situation in the region, emphasizing the urgent need for the establishment of stability and peace.
