
Armenia's Foreign Trade Increased in January-February

Armenia's foreign trade volume in January-February of this year increased by 77.7% compared to the same period in 2022. It amounted to $2 529 664 000. In February, this indicator amounted to $1 351 000 000, an increase in annual terms by 79.5%, and compared to January 2023 - by 14.6%.
Armenia's foreign trade turnover with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries over the first two months of the year exceeded $955 million, an increase of 82.8% compared to the same period last year. The largest foreign trade partners of the republic are Russia (the volume of trade in January-February 2023 is $900 million 681 thousand, an increase compared to the first two months of 2022 is 89%), Belarus - ($25 million, +79.3 %) and Ukraine ($14.6 million, decline - 28%).
The volume of foreign trade turnover with the EU countries for the reporting period exceeded $ 398 million, with an increase of 51.6%. The top five largest trading partners of Armenia among European countries are Germany ($103.3 million, +89.6%), the Netherlands ($78.2 million, +68.7%), Italy ($52.7 million, +40 .5%), France ($23 million, + 96.5%), Poland ($17.9 million, an increase of 2.1 times).
