"This positive dynamic continues this year, and the volume of mutual trade has increased by about 50 percent in 9 months of the year," he added.
Emphasizing that Azerbaijan is China's largest trade partner in the South Caucasus, Ambassador Huseynov said that the energy field is an important component of bilateral cooperation and that China's advanced experience and technology in the field of alternative energy is of interest to Azerbaijan.
Speaking about cooperation in the transport and transit sector, he mentioned that transport arteries passing through Azerbaijan, modern infrastructure, the Baku International Sea Trade Port, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line, and other projects provide the shortest and most efficient transport routes for transporting goods from China to Europe and vice-versa.
