On July 10, efforts continued to bring children affected by the war in Ukraine to Azerbaijan for rehabilitation services.
According to a statement, another group of 30 Ukrainian children arrived in Azerbaijan to receive rehabilitation services organized by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. In Baku, the children will participate in national dance classes and receive individual consultations from professional psychologists at a dedicated camp. The program also includes visits to significant landmarks such as Icherisheher (Old City), the Maiden Tower, the Shirvanshahs' Palace Complex, the Seaside Boulevard, Ateshgah Temple, and the Yanardag Monument.
In the coming days, the children will take part in group therapy sessions, meditation and yoga, psycho-social training, and master classes on Azerbaijani national cuisine. Additional excursions are planned to Gabala and Sheki, where the participants will explore the historical and scenic sites of the two cities.
Within the 10-day social rehabilitation program, comprehensive support will be provided to stabilize the children's emotional state and assist in their social integration. To date, over 230 Ukrainian children have been brought to Azerbaijan and offered social-psychological rehabilitation services.
