
Azerbaijani Servicemen Injured After Mine Explosion; Armenia Denies Accusations

On April 22, a military truck of the Azerbaijan Army, which was carrying security equipment to the positions located on the heights around Allahgulular village of Shusha district, fell on a mine and exploded, the Press Office of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan stated.
According to the information, as a result of the mine explosion, the driver and the driver of the car were injured, and the vehicle was disabled and became unusable. "A person of the military personnel who immediately came to help the wounded was injured by an anti-personnel mine. Three of our military personnel who fell under the mine were given immediate medical aid. The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the Turkey-Russia Joint Monitoring Center were informed about the incident," the ministry said. The Ministry of Defense has declared that all responsibility for the incident lies with Armenia's military and political leadership.
Moreover, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reacted to the incident. In the information shared by the ministry on Twitter, it is noted that Armenia should immediately stop all military provocations on the sovereign territory of Azerbaijan.
Furthermore, Armenia denied involvement in blowing up a truck of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, as a result of which military personnel was injured. "The Republic of Armenia has no relation to the mine truck of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan's accusations against Armenia are groundless," Edmon Marukyan, Armenia's Special Envoy, stated.
