De-facto Karabakh President's Office Denies Rumors About Recognizing Aghdam Line As Main Road

Commenting on the rumors that Arayik Harutyunyan has decided to accept the offer to use the Aghdam road on August 23, Lusine Avanesyan, the de-facto Spokesperson of the separatist President of Nagorno-Karabakh, said that no decision had been made in this sense.
"Avanesyan informed that on August 22 and 23, Harutyunyan held closed discussions with various state, political, and public circles, during which they discussed the humanitarian and security problems created in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the complete siege by Azerbaijan, the actions of the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities and the resolution of the situation," the report added.
"No decision has been made, but the discussions are continuing, and [de-facto] President Harutyunyan will personally make public the information about the situation and the approaches of the authorities shortly," Avanesyan said.
Recently, the Armenian press wrote that Arayik Harutyunyan informed at a session of the Security Council that a decision was made to trade on the Aghdam road. According to publications, construction materials, diesel fuel, and medicine will enter through Aghdam, and Russian peacekeepers will import food through Lachin.
