Azerbaijan Eyes Reopening Embassy in Tehran
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani stated, "Now we are working out a certain visit of an authorized person from Azerbaijan to Tehran, the exact date will be announced additionally. Bilateral talks are ongoing, and we have had discussions on many issues, including the resumption of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran, as well as developments in the South Caucasus."
The Iranian diplomat added: "We hope to see the reopening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran in the near future."
Armen Grigoryan Meets Iranian President
On October 3, Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan discussed the security situation in the region with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.
It is noted that the interlocutors emphasized the importance of observing the principle of inviolability of borders and resolving conflicts through dialogue. The sides also touched upon the Armenian-Iranian relations, noting the continuity of their development in different spheres.
Iran Sends Humanitarian Aid Karabakh Armenians Fleeing to Armenia
On the same day, Iran sent 60 tons of humanitarian aid to Armenia for IDPs from Nagorno-Karabakh.
It was met there by the Governor of the region, Robert Ghukasyan, and the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani. The humanitarian aid includes food, personal hygiene products, blankets, heaters, etc.
