
Kobakhidze and Orbán Focus on Deepening Georgian-Hungarian Economic and Cultural Ties

On April 25, , the Prime Minister of Georgia, met with Viktor Orbán, the Prime Minister of Hungary, to discuss the increasingly strong relationship between the respective countries. The meeting focused on the positive progress made in developing their partnership over recent years.
During the discussions, both parties emphasized the significance of enhancing sectoral ties, mainly through implementing agreements reached by their intergovernmental commission. The conversation underscored Hungary's robust support for Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration aspirations. This support is considered especially crucial as Hungary approaches its upcoming European Union presidency and as Georgia continues to advance in its European integration process.
The leaders also explored opportunities to further deepen trade and economic relations between Georgia and Hungary. Additionally, they discussed ongoing productive collaborations in education and culture, which have been beneficial for both nations.
