
Magomed Daudov Announces a 27% Increase in Investments in Chechnya

On February 26, Magomed Daudov, the head of the Chechen government, announced that investments in fixed assets in Chechnya reached 153.7 billion rubles (€1.68 billion) in the first nine months of 2024, marking a 27% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
During a meeting on investment development, tax compliance, and privatization liquidity, Daudov reported that 160 investment projects totaling 6.4 billion rubles (€70.2 million) had been completed, creating 1,600 jobs. Currently, 506 projects worth 114.4 billion rubles (€1.25 billion) are underway and are expected to generate 9,300 jobs.
He emphasized the ongoing implementation of five "breakthrough projects" under Chechnya’s economic development model, with continued support for businesses. The region is also seeking participation in a federal subsidy program aimed at developing industrial, technology, and business parks.
Daudov further highlighted that the Chechen Republic's consolidated budget for 2024 recorded 37.1 billion rubles (€406.7 million) in tax and non-tax revenues, reflecting a 33.4% increase from 2023.
