
Meeting of Israeli Ambassadors in Eurasian Countries To Be Held in Baku

From January 16 to 18, a service meeting of Israeli ambassadors to Eurasian countries will be held in Baku with the participation of high-ranking officials of the central apparatus of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan informed the local media.
The information stated that the main topic of the consultations held with the participation of ambassadors in Eurasian countries is the difficult situation in the region in the context of the war in Ukraine and the Iran-Israel conflict and plans for 2023.
Notably, this meeting will take place shortly after Eli Cohen, Israel's new Foreign Minister, took office on January 2.
As previously reported by Caucasus Watch, on December 28-29, the delegation headed by Fariz Rzayev, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited Israel, the Press Office of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
