Pashinyan Vows Referendum if Territorial Exchange Discussed

During his visit to the village of Shinuayr in Sunik province on June 17, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that if the issue of territorial exchange arises during the border delimitation with Azerbaijan, the Armenian authorities will organize a referendum.
"There may be a situation where you can give 100 square meters here and get 100 square meters there. In this case, we will not decide anything. A referendum should be held, you will decide," he explained to the villagers.
Pashinyan assured the residents that Armenia's territorial integrity is non-negotiable. Addressing concerns about the rumored "Zangezur Corridor," which would pass through the Syunik region, he dismissed them as baseless and urged villagers not to be swayed by such discussions.
"Understand correctly - we are not creating a new border with Azerbaijan, we are restoring the borders of the Soviet era," Pashinyan emphasized.
