Ramzan Kadyrov Calls for Increased Security Measures in Response to Terrorist Attack in Dagestan

On June 25, in connection with the tragic events in Dagestan, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov called on law enforcement agencies to step up efforts to ensure public safety and prevent terrorism and religious extremism.
"Special attention should be paid to countering radical ideology coming from European countries," Kadyrov said. He assured that any attacks on law enforcement personnel and state structures would be firmly suppressed, stressing, "Not only the perpetrators of the crime, but also those who indirectly helped them will be punished to the fullest extent of the law."
Kadyrov urged all residents of the republic to remain vigilant, especially towards their closest relatives, in order to protect them from terrorist ideology. He warned that negligence in this matter could lead to serious tragic consequences, which must be prevented by the joint efforts of the authorities and society.
In addition, Kadyrov thanked the commanders of the security forces and fighters participating in the Special Military Operation (SRO) in Ukraine for their role in countering Western and European intervention and their "satanic ideology". He affirmed, "We are effectively confronting these forces and honorably defending our Motherland from all external threats. In this struggle we have all the necessary resources and capabilities, which are yielding good results".
Kadyrov recalled that international institutions once “tried to destroy Russia's sovereignty through the Chechen Republic, but thanks to the efforts of the first Chechen President, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, they received a worthy response.” "The same fate awaits those who try to influence Russia through Ukraine. Victory will be ours," he added.
