
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Holds Consultations in Yerevan

Alexander Grushko, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, held diplomatic consultations in Yerevan and discussed the current situation in Europe, Russia's and Armenia's relations with the European Union and NATO, the Press Service of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
"Alexander Grushko, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, held consultations in Yerevan with Paruyr Hovhannisyan, the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia, and Vahe Gevorkyan on issues of regional and European security," the report said.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan also received Alexander Grushko. During the discussions, a comprehensive exchange of views on the current situation in Europe, including the relations of our countries with the European Union and NATO, interaction in the OSCE, and the situation in the Council of Europe, took place. Issues of the international and regional agenda were also discussed. The officials confirmed the importance of implementing the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan dated November 9, 2020, January 11, and November 26, 2021, related to maintaining peaceful life in the region and strengthening stability, unblocking transport communications, and establishing economic ties.
