Separatist South Ossetia Teaches Gun Use to Schoolchildren

The de-facto Ministry of Defense of separatist South Ossetia (Tskhinvali Region) conducted fire training classes with 11th-grade students of Tskhinvali schools at the department's training center. "The purpose of the classes is to inculcate the skills of owning small arms," the de-facto Ministry of Defense reported.
It is noted that the training is carried out on behalf of Alan Gagloev, the separatist President of South Ossetia, and in connection with the appeal of the head of the administration of the city of Tskhinvali.
There are five training points on the territory of the training ground through which each trainee must pass. Boys and girls theoretically study small arms, practically master the material part of the machine gun with its disassembly and assembly, and work out the ability to aim correctly, load the magazine and act correctly on the firing line.
Also, the Department of Logistics of the Ministry of Defense set up a field kitchen for students at the training ground, where they are treated to a full meal. "On behalf of the Minister of Defense, the students who scored the most points in the shooting were allowed to shoot a whole clip from a machine gun, as well as shoot from an NSVT heavy machine gun," the information reads.
