Separatist Tskhinvali Conducts Anti-Sabotage Trainings Against Georgia

On June 21, the de-facto State Security Committee of the separatist South Ossetia/Tskhinvali Region, together with the Border Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia in South Ossetia, the de-facto Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia, and several other law enforcement agencies and special services, conducted anti-sabotage training activities. In addition to the de-facto leadership of separatist South Ossetia, the acting chairman of the State Security Service of Abkhazia and representatives of the Federal Security Service of Russia took part in the events.
The exercises are connected with the aggravation of the situation in Georgia. "Currently, there is an intensification of the destructive activities of the collective West in Georgia. The United States and its allies are stepping up efforts to destabilize the country's domestic political situation. Thus, with the use of the Georgian pro-Western opposition and pro-Kyiv forces, the West is trying to bring the controlled United National Movement to power in Georgia. If these plans are implemented, there is reason to believe that the next step will be drawing Georgia into an open conflict with the Russian Federation by opening the so-called second front," the information said.
It is also noted that Alan Gagloev, the de-facto Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of separatist South Ossetia, highly appreciated the level of the exercises and stressed the coherence of the work of the units involved.
