
Some restrictions removed in special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to remove some restrictions in the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the document on March 27th.
According to the information, from 06:00 local time on March 28th, citizens of foreign countries, citizens of other countries who permanently live in those countries, as well as stateless persons, are allowed to enter and exit the Republic of Azerbaijan through air transport.
The requirement for a COVID-19 passport (document confirming full vaccination against COVID-19 or recovery from COVID-19 and immunity) is waived in the following cases:
- When citizens of foreign countries, citizens of other countries who permanently live in those countries, as well as stateless persons, enter the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- To enter specified places (places where celebrations are held, sports and health-rehabilitation facilities, large shopping centers, public catering facilities, hotels, intercity (interdistrict) transport routes, and other places where such a requirement is established).
