Ukraine Imposes Sanctions on Georgian Airways

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against the Georgian airline Georgian Airways, which resumed flights to Russia. The signed document was published on its website on July 1 by the Press Service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
By the same decree, sanctions for a period of 10 years were imposed on 192 individuals, among whom Russian citizens predominate. In addition, 291 legal entities, particularly Russian factories, and companies, fell under restrictive measures.
On the same day, Tamaz Gaiashvili, the head of the Georgian airline, reacted to the Kyiv restrictions imposed against him. He said he was not interested in the sanctions Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed against him and his enterprise. "I am not at all interested in who introduces what against me. I will leave this topic without comment," Gaiashvili said.
