Washington Puts Armenian Company on Sanction List

"Reuters" reported that Washington blacklisted 71 companies that violated sanctions against Russia. This list includes an Armenian company cooperating with the Russian military and defense sector.
In addition to Armenia, a Kyrgyz company is also on the blacklist. The list, compiled by the United States (US) Department of Commerce, includes companies that support the Russian military and defense sector. The information emphasized that these steps are part of the sanctions and export controls imposed by the coalition, which includes the United States and 37 other countries, in response to Russia's intervention in Ukraine.
The imposition of such sanctions is designed to undermine Russia's industrial base and ability to continue the war.
Notably, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan are members of the Eurasian Economic Union led by Russia.
On May 19, the G7 announced new sanctions against Moscow. The measures aim to prevent the supply of products that could be used to help the Russian military. This includes goods such as snow plows, dryers, and their parts. According to the US, the same equipment can be used to support the Russian military machine.
