During the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of Armenia-EU multi-sector cooperation and reiterated the Armenian government’s commitment to deepening and expanding these relations. He stressed the need for effective implementation of the agreements reached in October 2023 in Granada with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, as well as the commitments made in the Armenia-EU-US high-level statement adopted during the April 2024 meeting in Brussels.
Ambassador Vassilis Maragos provided updates on the progress of the steps outlined in the aforementioned agreements and reiterated the EU’s continued support for promoting democratic and economic reforms in Armenia.
