Armenian and Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Ministers Chair Mutual Delegation Visits

On September 5, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported that Mher Grigoryan, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, and Shahin Mustafayev, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, chaired mutual visits of their respective delegations to the territories of Armenia and Azerbaijan. In line with the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, 2025, the parties discussed the delimitation and demining of relevant sections of the state border, as well as the restoration and construction of necessary infrastructure and the timelines for their implementation, aiming to synchronize activities related to the creation of communications. The heads of the delegations also exchanged views on organizing the next meetings of the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security of the State Border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
