
Azerbaijan Hands Over Bodies of 13 Armenian Soldiers to Armenia

On November 28, Azerbaijan handed over the bodies of 13 Armenian service members to the other side, the Press Office of the State Commission on Prisoners and Missing and Hostage Citizens of Azerbaijan reported.
The information stated that the process of searching for the bodies of Armenian military personnel who died during the military operations on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border on September 12–13, 2022, has been continued. "On November 28 of this year, 13 corpses belonging to Armenian servicemen discovered as a result of search operations in the area were examined with the participation of the employees of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and after it was determined that there were no signs of violence on them, the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross by the norms of international humanitarian law was handed over to the other side," the report added.
