
Azerbaijan Hands Over Bodies of 32 Armenian Soldiers to Armenia

According to the information of the State Commission on Prisoners and Missing and Hostaged Citizens of Azerbaijan, on September 17, the bodies of 32 Armenian servicemen found in the territories controlled by Azerbaijan after the military operations were examined together with the relevant employees of the Military Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan, and no signs of violence were found on them.
"On September 17, those bodies were handed over to the other party. Currently, the examination of other corpses belonging to Armenian soldiers is being conducted, and they will be handed over in the near future," the State Commission said.
On September 14, Azerbaijan's State Commission on Captive and Missing, Hostage Citizens stated that it is ready to unilaterally hand over the bodies of up to 100 Armenian servicemen to the other side.
According to official information, 79 servicemen of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces were killed, and 282 servicemen were injured during the recent battles on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border.
