
Azerbaijan Hosts EU Delegation, Discusses Regional Security

During a meeting with the Political and Security Committee of the European Union at the level of Permanent Representatives/Ambassadors of EU member states on April 12, Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, provided insights into the discussions.
"We had a broad and in-depth discussion with the Political and Security Committee of the European Union represented at the level of Permanent Representatives/Ambassadors of EU Member States. I am thankful to Deputy Political Director Delphine Pronk for co-chairing our meeting," Hajiyev stated.
The EU Political and Security Committee representatives commenced a visit to Azerbaijan's liberated territories. Upon their arrival at Fuzuli International Airport, they were greeted by Emin Huseynov, the president's special representative in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts.
At the airport lobby, the guests were introduced to a photo exhibition showcasing Karabakh's history and the prospects for the region's development.
