Azerbaijan to open two checkpoints on border with Armenia

Azerbaijan has identified the location of two border checkpoints on the border with Armenia. The border checkpoints will be in Eyvazli and Gazanchi settlements in Gubadli and Zangilan districts bordering on Armenia. Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decree on this.
According to the document, four border checkpoints will be established. Two more border checkpoints will be opened at Fuzuli and Zagatala international airports. It should be noted that the 21-kilometer section of the road between the Armenian cities of Goris and Kapan passes through the village of Eyvazli.
The highway to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan will pass near the village of Gazanchi, and it will be part of the Zangezur transport corridor. The former railway from Azerbaijan to Kapan (Armenia) also passes near the village of Gazanchi.
