
Azerbaijani Digital Development Minister Meets Elon Musk in US

On August 11, Azerbaijan's Digital Development and Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev met with Elon Musk, an American entrepreneur and the founder of "SpaceX" company, owner of X (former Twitter) social network.
"We met the founder of the company, Elon Musk, at Tesla's Giga Texas factory in Austin. We exchanged views on the planned activity of the Starlink satellite internet service in our country this year, the launch of satellites belonging to our country, and the International Astronautical Congress to be hosted by Baku in October of this year," Nabiyev said.
It should be noted that on May 9 of this year, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Azerbaijan Space Agency - "Azerkosmos" and the US company "SpaceX" (Space Exploration Technologies Corporation). According to the agreement, an agreement was reached between "Azerkosmos" and "SpaceX" on the resale of the company's "Starlink" broadband satellite internet service in Azerbaijan.
