Chechen Commander Mentions Georgian Legions Fighting for Ukraine

On 20 June, Akhmat special forces commander Apty Alaudinov said that the situation on the front was very specific. "Akhmat units are fighting in the direction of Maryinsky," he said.
"The enemy is very well dug in. Many serious underground passages and 'caves' have been created. The enemy's resistance is fierce. But as soon as we went in, we made a big breakthrough. After that, we started to get to know the enemy and the area," the commander said.
According to him, large numbers of the enemy are being destroyed every day. "We have to acknowledge that the enemy in our area is serious. We are destroying American snipers. We have already destroyed several groups. The Foreign Legion is active. There are also European and Georgian representatives. The whole mix is there," said Alaudinov.
"We are slowly and systematically destroying the enemy and moving forward," the commander said. "The task is to save the fighters and ensure the liberation of Maryinka, and also to force the enemy to attract the maximum number of specialists to us so that we can destroy them," he said.
According to Alaudinov, some of the units he leads are still in Kremennaya, while others are in Belogorovka and Berestovoye. "Work is still going on there to destroy the enemy and drive them out of these areas. The rest are in Maryinka, reinforced by the 78th 'Akhmat - North' regiment. Two more regiments are being coordinated," he concluded.
