Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov Unveils First 100 "Jihad Vehicles" for National Defense Forces

On October 6, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov handed over the first 100 so-called "jihad vehicles" to the All-Russian public movement People's Front "For Russia" to support the National Defense Forces. These vehicles are military models built on the GAZ Sobol and GAZ Sadko chassis. With support from the Russian Ministry of Industry, mass production of these vehicles has begun in Chechnya.
The vehicles are assembled at the Chechenavto company and undergo testing at the Russian Special Forces University in Gudermes. By the end of the year, an additional 386 units are expected to be produced.
During the handover ceremony, Kadyrov emphasized that both technical requirements and feedback from frontline fighters were considered in the vehicle's development. "In a short time, we were able to establish serial production of the 'jihad vehicle.' I am pleased that my suggestions at various stages were also taken into account," the Chechen leader said.
