During the annual conference of the ambassadors of France on August 28, French President Emmanuel Macron promised to launch a new diplomatic initiative aimed at lifting Azerbaijan's blockade of the Lachin corridor.
Emmanuel Macron informed French diplomats that he will have a chance to talk to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev this week.
"We will demand full respect for the humanitarian regime of the Lachin corridor and will take a new initiative at the international level to increase pressure on this issue," Macron said.
