
Investments in Fixed Assets in Chechnya Increase by 44%

Investments in fixed assets in Chechnya increased in the 1st quarter of 2023 by 44.1% compared to the 1st quarter of 2022. The volume of investments in the 1st quarter of 2023 amounted to EUR 170 million.
"The largest share in the total volume of assimilated investments in fixed assets is occupied by the costs of building buildings (except for residential ones) and structures, and the costs of improving the land. For these purposes, in January-March 2023, 49.0% of the volume of investments in fixed assets was used from all sources of financing. 40.2% was used for constructing residential buildings and premises, 10.8% for purchasing machinery, equipment, vehicles, household equipment, and other objects," Chechenstat data exerted.
More than 70% of the total investment in fixed assets is formed by organizations that are not small businesses. In the 1st quarter of 2023, they disbursed EUR 121 million. Investments were mainly used in real estate operations (50.7%), construction (11.5%), education (10.7%), and health and social services (4.7%).
The sources of financing investment investments remain both the own funds of organizations, through which 29.5% of the volume of assimilated investments were financed, and the attracted funds of organizations - 70.5% of the volume of assimilated investments. 42.7% was financed from budgetary funds of all levels, of which 38.8% - from the federal budget.
