Ishkhan Saghatelyan on his trip to Strasbourg and Brussels

Ishkhan Saghatelyan, one of the opposition leaders, spoke about his trip to Strasbourg and Brussels on July 4-8.
"I held several meetings with high-ranking officials dealing with issues of Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, and the region as a whole,” he stated.
“The main discussion topics at all meetings were Nagorno-Karabakh, security and the internal political situation in Armenia, and the Armenian prisoners of war issue. During these meetings, I concluded that the interests of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh in international structures, particularly in the European Parliament, are not properly represented. The statements of the Armenian authorities that the international community is demanding a lowering of the bar on the status of Artsakh have nothing to do with reality," the opposition leader underlined.
“The current government of Armenia essentially repeats the theses voiced by the Azerbaijani and Turkish delegations in international structures about revanchist forces in Armenia,” he added.
