
Kabardino-Balkaria Leads in National Healthcare Project

Kabardino-Balkaria is the only region in Russia that achieved all the National Healthcare Project goals in 2022, according to data from the Russian Ministry of Health. The Ministry of Health of Kabardino-Balkaria achieved the planned targets for reducing mortality from circulatory system diseases among the adult population, increasing cancer detection in the early stages, and other important indicators that affect overall life expectancy.
Kabardino-Balkaria also fulfilled the main criterion by being the first to reach 90% of successful appointments with a doctor through the State Services portal.
"As part of the national project, more than 80 units of medical equipment were purchased and put into operation in the republic, ten polyclinics were reconstructed, and one rural outpatient clinic was put into operation, purchased 16 units of ambulances and two mobile complexes. More than 50 patients were evacuated with the use of air ambulance. According to the Zemsky Doctor / Paramedic program, 29 specialists were employed in the medical organization," the message added.
