Kadyrov Declares Chechen Forces Ready If Europe Starts War
On December 3, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, responded to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s remark that Russia did not intend to go to war with Europe, "but if Europe does, we’re ready right now". Kadyrov stated that he and his forces would not hesitate in such a situation, declaring: "We certainly won’t stand on ceremony, Vladimir Vladimirovich, we’re waiting for the order! This will all end very quickly and clearly not in favor of those who decided to start a war with Russia". He then addressed the President with a question, asking: "If all this starts, you won’t be offended if they immediately apologize voluntarily, will you?"
