Kadyrov Reports Failed Ukrainian Kamikaze Drone Attack on Chechen Commander Zingiev

On November 27, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, reported an attempted attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the vehicle of Zaindi Zingiev, commander of the 78th North-Akhmat Motorized Rifle Regiment. The attack, carried out using a kamikaze drone, occurred during Zingiev’s visit to his unit in the Artemivsk direction.
“The fighters resolved the looming problem with a couple of precise shots from an automatic rifle,” Kadyrov stated, emphasizing that the attack was unsuccessful and no harm was done.
During his visit, Zingiev inspected the service conditions and distributed food and other supplies to the troops. Kadyrov noted that the regiment’s personnel are actively engaged in combat operations against Ukraine in the village of Krasnoye. He described the area as particularly challenging due to ongoing intense fighting.
