
Lavrov and Bayramov discussed implementation of trilateral agreements

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry stated that a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov took place on March 10 as part of the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya.
The sides discussed current topics on the bilateral agenda during the meeting.
The participants discussed the present situation in Ukraine, Russian-Ukraine dialogue, and possible solutions to the problem.
The ministers also reviewed the present situation in the region, including the execution of tripartite declarations, generating chances for normalisation of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, expanding communication and transport lines in the region, and the border delimitation process.
On the same day, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, on regional developments and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
They noted that by signing the Shusha Declaration and having it ratified in both countries' parliaments, the fraternal and cordial ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey have progressed further on the foundation of alliance. The two parties discussed the potential for normalisation of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations in the post-conflict period. The presidents also discussed the significance of the Zangezur Corridor's opening, the opportunities it provided for the area, and the Kars-Nakhchivan railway's development in this respect.
The sides emphasised the necessity of Armenia implementing all the conditions of the Trilateral Declaration made on November 10, 2020, and the interactions between Turkish and Armenian delegates during the meeting.
