Ossetian Separatist Forces Report Progress in Kursk Region Amid Intense Fighting

On August 14, the Issa Pliyev Regiment, which unites the separatist Ossetian units participating in the Russo-Ukrainian War, provided an update on the situation in the Kursk region.
The regiment reported that a counterattack had begun, with active assaults occurring along the entire length of the combat line. Due to the intensity of the fighting, there was still no opportunity to assess the effectiveness and extent of the cleared territory. However, the regiment noted that progress was being made at a good pace. "We are working. Greetings from the fighters. The commander reports on the spot," the message stated.
Regarding the Belgorod region, the regiment described the situation as "stable but tense." They reported repelling several enemy roll-ups and mentioned that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attempted to accumulate equipment and manpower along the border. The shelling of Belgorod was ongoing, but air defense and aviation were actively responding. "We are waiting and holding the defense," the report added, noting that this information came from Gobi.
The regiment also confirmed that Ossetian battalions continued their operations in the Kharkiv direction. On their section of the front, the situation was described as stable, with ongoing mutual work using UAVs and mortar units to gradually eliminate the enemy. "There are no active assault actions," reported the battalion commander "Storm Ossetia."
