Through a decree issued on January 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin bestowed the esteemed military rank of "major general" upon Russian State Duma MP Adam Delimkhanov.
Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, underscored Delimkhanov's widespread recognition and influence, not only within the Chechen [Federal] Republic and Russia but also globally. He praised Delimkhanov's unwavering commitment to combating terrorism and extremism, alongside his deep patriotism and unwavering dedication to the nation.
Kadyrov emphasized Delimkhanov's active role in countering 'Ukrainian nationalists' during the conflict in Donbas and Ukraine, where he courageously fought on the front lines defending Russia's interests. 
Ramzan Kadyrov highlighted the exceptional nature of the Delimkhanov family's contributions, noting that three brothers from the same lineage now hold the esteemed title of Hero of the Russian Federation and bear the rank of general. Kadyrov expressed profound pride in the Delimkhanov brothers, hailing them as genuine patriots of Russia whose dedication and sacrifice exemplify unwavering loyalty to the nation.
