
Red Cross Official Meets Jeyhun Bayramov After Azerbaijan's Accusations

On July 14, in a meeting with Dragana Kojic, the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) representation in Azerbaijan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov stated that the ICRC, following the necessary rules, may continue the passage of Armenian residents through the border post for medical purposes.
Regarding the supply needs of Armenian residents, it was emphasized that there is an opportunity to assist using the Aghdam-Khankendi/Stepanakert road.
Notably, on July 11, the State Border Service said that people crossing from Armenia to Karabakh with ICRC vehicles are engaged in smuggling. A criminal case has been opened in connection with the facts, and the crossing from the border crossing point "Lachin" has been temporarily suspended.
