
SOCAR Supplies Rescue Vehicles with Free Fuel in Turkey's Earthquake Region

On February 7, SOCAR Turkey, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkey, reported that it provides free gasoline to all ambulance, firefighting, and rescue vehicles of the Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) and other organizations from Hazar gas stations in Hatay, Adiyaman, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş and Şanlıurfa. and provides diesel.
SOCAR Turkey informed that the company provides support to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ankara within the framework of the evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens living in the earthquake area.
In addition, SOCAR Turkey handed over EUR 316 thousand in essential goods to AFAD, donated EUR 172 thousand, and provided materials worth EUR 27 thousand to be delivered to the region under the instructions of the Directorate of Migration Management.
Moreover, according to the information from the Ministry of Emergencies, on February 7, two planes containing the ministry's assistance went to Turkey. Thus, a mobile field hospital and a professional medical and non-medical staff of 41 people arrived in Adana, Turkey, by plane. "The second plane that will deliver tents, bedding, heaters, and other equipment intended for the accommodation of people damaged by the debris has been sent to Turkey today," the Ministry said.
