
Territorial Defense Training to be Held in Krasnodar Territory

Exercises on issues of territorial defense will be held in the Kuban. The planned events were announced at a meeting held by Veniamin Kondratiev, the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, and Alexander Vlasov, his Deputy and Ataman of the Kuban Cossack Army.
"In the Krasnodar Territory, by the plan of the Southern Military District, exercises and trainings on issues of territorial defense will be held," a message from the Press Service of the Kuban Cossack army stated.
As previously reported by Caucasus Watch, joint analytical material by the Nestka publication and the OVD-Info human rights project stated that in Russia, since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, at least 19,443 people have been detained for participating in anti-war rallies and pickets, as well as for posting on social networks. Over the past ten years, this is a record number of politically motivated detainees.
