United National Movement Chairman on Visa Lift: "Putin Declared Georgia Russian Province"

On May 11, United National Movement Chairman Levan Khabeishvili said that Putin actually declared Georgia a Russian province. "Putin thanked the 'Russian Dream' [Georgian Dream] and Bidzina Ivanishvili for the help they provided," he added.
According to him, the will of the Georgian people is unshakable, and the population of Georgia chooses Europe, not Russia. "Putin actually declared Georgia a Russian province. Putin thanked the 'Russian Dream' and Bidzina Ivanishvili for their help and announced the relevant decision - canceled the visa regime and restored flights. It is the peak of cynicism when parallel to this; the Georgian people are oppressed every day, the occupation continues, the Russian army is deployed on the territory of Georgia," he added.
"The will of the Georgian people is unshakable! We choose Europe, not Russia! It is unimaginable, at such a historic time, that Georgia is an open partner of Russia. It gives me great anxiety and pain to even think about it. I will do everything with you to tear down this shameful page and enter our historical European family," Levan Khabeishvili added.
