
Zelenskyy: "Ukraine Discussing Azerbaijani Gas Transit Deal to Boost EU Energy Security"

On July 3, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, stated that the continuation of Ukrainian transit with Azerbaijani gas starting in 2025 is under discussion.
Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is negotiating the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to the European Union. The country aims to maintain its role as a transit state and help its Western neighbors ensure energy security.
Zelenskyy mentioned that the deal to replace Russian gas with Azerbaijani gas is one of the proposals currently being discussed. "Government officials are working on this right now," he said.
